Three children and one adult were killed on Thursday in a shooting at an elementary school in Oregon, and the shooter was also dead, a senior law enforcement official briefed on the investigation said.

The killer was a 16-year-old kid who used a gun to blast his way through locked doors before shooting three children and a teacher. Tragic.

But at least anybody can get guns anytime in America, so freedom was preserved.

But (at least I heard, not sure if it's true) he was confronted by a good guy with a gun that stopped the attack earlier than it could've been, so guns win!

I enjoyed the heartwarming story from a mother who was a school shooting survivor telling the story of how she coached her son through being a school shooting survivor.

Eventually, only after an obvious DEI hire subdued the shooter. But kudos to the guy who shot the attacker after the unarmed woman subdued him.

If only that dozen, including the half-dozen kids, had been packing.
