Quote from: Scoop Snoop on October 20, 2026, 08:44:47 PMDamn straight! He's the guy who was bragging constantly about being the biggest, toughest mother*er on the team. He should play with a boot, cast, or whatever just to prove how tough he is.

We could get him a gun

Shaka on Owens starting:

I'm pretty confident in the other 4 starters scoring in double figures so if Owens can defend, rebound, and score off of cuts, offensive putbacks, and spot-up 3's, that makes a lot of sense to me.  We don't need him to score in double-figures to be successful.

Agreed, Omax was 8ppg. Keep himself as an efficient threat that's very competent on D and I'm fine with it.
Retire Terry Rand's jersey!

OMax was actually 6.6 ppg as a sophomore, but your point is still valid.

That team had two primary scorers (Morsell, Lewis) and six guys who averaged between 5.5 and 7.4 ppg. As that (and many other teams) showed, there are lots of ways to win.
