Has anyone here gone to an e-bike yet?

After 40 years on a road bike, I finally switched and bought an Aventon Pace. Way easier on the upper body.

I hate those things!

I'm retired and I ride a conventional style bicycle for exercise and recreation. Along the bike trails in Chicago, particularly along the Lakefront, those things are downright dangerous. The mix of speeds between regular bikes and electric bikes is scary.

Years ago, when I was young, Tennessee had a requirement for a license for what was then "motor driven scooters." These were low powered scooters that I'm guessing would be close in horsepower to today's electric bikes.
