Marquette proved today that they are top 10 material

Great effort - GTown wins with some luck

Should have fouled Gtown at the end of regulation and not in the act of shooting.
You heard it here first. Davante Gardner will be a Beast this year.

I'll say that GU proved they are NOT top 10 material. We are solid top 20, but there are some very good teams ahead of us and Georgetown.

That said, I like our chances to advance in the tourney better than GU's.

The three pointer by Wallace with the shot clock expiring was as lucky as one gets.  If that didn't go down we win.  Anyway, I don't think there is any doubt in our minds we have an awesome team.  I look forward to the conclusion of the season and the beginning of the tourneys.

A top 10 team beats the number 10 team at home.  I think today we proved we are not a top 10 team.  In the grand scheme of things, as painful as it was, this was not a loss that means a ton.

Great game with both teams playing to their strengths.  GT knows how to finish and we are learning.  LH and McNeal were 5-29 but were all heart.  Burke brought the mo back our way.  And, Wes was a stud in defeat.

Besides the missed free throwsd and stuff, the big difference was that down the stretch they ran their stuff and got good shots and we reverted to one on one play and did not.

Personally, I think this game will only make us stronger in the big picture, i.e. BE tourney and NCAA's

Yeah we lost, but look at both the play of dwight and trevor.  If they can play D like that the rest of the way out, things will happen.  I dont know if we are a top 10 team, but I think we know we can be a lot of teams in the tourney!

Yea great D Marquette!!!  Great job letting them shoot 46.8 from the field, while we shoot barely over 33%.  Shooting 60% from the ft line really makes me question if we are a top 10 team too!  Hmmm, I dunno?!

1-5 against the Top teams in your conference is not Top 10.
