Jalen Brunson got hurt 5 minutes into last night's game and didn't return, so Kolek played 24 minutes. He had 7 points on 3/9 shooting (1/4 from 3), 5 assists, 5 rebounds and 0 turnovers. He was +2, one of only 4 Knicks in the plus column as they lost at Sacramento.

Kolek's performance this year has been kind of funny.  There is some recency and confirmation bias, to be sure.  But it feels like when he gets normal (low to mid teens) minutes, he'll be decent but sometimes uninspiring.  But whenever he gets elevated minutes for whatever reason, he fills up the stat sheet to some extent

Lots of positives, but 10-32 shooting over the past 5 isn't gonna help his long term case...
