Yes.
I don't think so.  But open to learning differently.
Yes, be open to learning differently. Sorta like it takes 7 years to really judge. Give Shaka a 5 year extension.

Quote from: Don_Kojis on January 10, 2026, 06:16:55 PMLove Nigel's offensive.  But he let his guy get a lot of layups today.  I admit he made some steals.  He has to stop his guy.
We have nothing in the middle.  Gold was 1-22 in 3 pt shots in conference.  He has to improve.  I would hope Shaka has someone working with him
I would hope Parham could be a little more aware of def players around him.  He got the ball stolen at least 3 times.
Chase isn't a leader.  He is a good complementary player with better players around him. We don't have that guard or wing to take the last shot or in a crucial situation.
Why did Shaka have Philips in at the end of the game to shot an air ball.  He is supposed to be a good outside shooter.  But he is a freshmen and didn't have a lot of game experience.
WE had a good chance to win.  They still don't click as a team.
Golds oppurnity is gone. That window is closed.

Quote from: Viper on January 10, 2026, 07:16:43 PMI see hope for next year. Critical James stays, Stevens, Phillips and Parham too...redshirts contribute, incoming are good, get a solid transfer for Zaide's spot...definitely hope. Turnarounds in basketball can happen quickly. Heck, IU proves it in football.

Pretty sure MU doesn't have Mark Cuban in its alumni network.

Didn't he receive his MBA here with Steve Aldee?

Thanks. I was interpreting your post as if there were escalators based solely on years at MU. (Maybe there are, IDK.) I read a lot of different takes here on how MU's NIL works with RGV. Never know what to believe. No matter how it works now, I'd guess there will be adjustments in the offseason.

Quote from: panda on January 10, 2026, 06:11:24 PMWith all due respect, you are an insane person to suggest Royce parham will command a big time NIL bag on the open market.

He won't, but he will command a big nil bag at Marquette.

Why? Because he can play and no one else this side of Nigel can play better than him next season given what we've seen

He's not getting a million dollar offer from Marquette you are cuckoo bananas if you believe that

Good thing Marquette doesn't have to support a football program, its 85 players (including $4-$5 million QB) and its $12 million-a-year coach.

Quote from: Billy Hoyle on January 10, 2026, 03:59:20 PMDamn right he is. We're going to have to really pay up to keep him. I can see him getting $2 million (on top of rev share).

Parham has established himself as a solid #2 for the future, IMO.

On a good team--which I would define as what MU had the previous four years--I'd argue he could be in the 4-6 range. Maybe if he really develops the third option.

And therein lies the problem, doesn't it? Nice analysis.
