Quote from: mileskishnish72 on October 16, 2025, 08:05:19 AMThe Sporting News ran an article indicating that the Knicks were fielding calls from other teams and that a Kolek trade might be in the offing.

https://www.nytimes.com/athletic/6720584/2025/10/15/malcolm-brogdon-knicks-nba-retired/

In the above article in The Athletic about Malcolm Brogdon's retirement, rather than remain with the Knicks this year, it states "It's possible now that the Knicks will just sign either [Landry] Shamet, who appears to be the frontrunner, or [Garrison] Mathews, and no longer try to open a roster spot via trading one of their young, end-of-the-bench pieces."

I don't follow the Knicks nor the NBA well enough to speculate whether a trade might've been good for TKo. I do hope he finds decent playing time as he moves forward in his career.

If he changed his name to Antetokounmpo, the Bucks would give up their 2031 or 2032 first for Tyler.

I think a trade would be good for TKO - Thibodeau and Brown are some of the worst coaches to play for as young players because they do not give young players much of a run.

Possibility that it could happen early next year. Fringe-rotation (or out of rotation) players are often included in deadline deals to even out salary-cap requirements.

Kam Jones will be out until at least Nov. 9 according to Pacers.

Jimmy had a nice game to start the season.

I thought it was interesting that he apparently bet Draymond Green that he'd finish the season with a higher FT% than Curry. Then he went out and shot 16-16 from the line - which is apparently the most free throws without a miss for the Warriors since some guy named Barry in the mid-70s. Apparently FTs matta to JFB this year. I assume that he must have done something different in the off-season to work on FTs...I wonder what it was.

He's a career 85% from the line so he's no slouch. I'd guess just a personal challenge to not leave free points at the line. On a side note the Warriors look awesome. I think Oso could be a great fit for that roster as they are currently starting Draymond Green at the 5. The Suns have a ton of depth at the 4/5 as well. Would be awesome to see him with those shooters everywhere on the court.

Absolutely...although I never suggested that he was. But that's a big step from 85% to 91%. Potentially even bigger since JFB was  84.2% last year and Curry was 93.3%.

You're probably right. So much of FT shooting is focus...so anything that helps him keep focus is going to help.

He certainly gets there a lot.
