Uncle Rico

Former Bucks and Louisville star passed away this afternoon.  Made a fortune in retirement.

Thus says the Lord of hosts: Render true judgments, show kindness and mercy to one another; do not oppress the widow, the orphan, the alien, or the poor; and do not devise evil in your hearts against one another.

RIP. what a cool and unique legacy. Worked his ass off in everything he did and passed his wisdom on.

Shaq spoke of this during the Bucks telecast last night, specifically that Junior mentored him in how to grow his wealth through food franchises and then even got him connected to Papa Johns.  By all accounts, he was a humble, grateful man willing to pay it forward to the next person coming up behind him. What an incredible life taken too soon.

If there is any pro athlete that should be a role model, I think Junior is it.

A graceful, athletic player. Was one of my faves.

Also a Bucks minority owner as of mid last year.  Shame he didn't get more time to enjoy owning a stake in his former team.

Zog from Margo

I remember him playing with Allen Murphy for Louisville against UCLA in the title game. He was a great player and obviously an exceptional businessman.

If I remember correctly, that was a semifinal game.
