Looks like the site is finally up to purchase past Marquette basketball photos.  If the link doesn't work keep trying as they just sent out an e-mail about it and lots of traffic is slowing it down!  Type in your e-mail address to get a free 9" x 12" unframed photo!

That's a great idea and a generous offer, but does anybody else think there could have been better choices? They have three photos available of the Golden Eagle under the link "Traditions."

TallTitan34

Personally I like those three.   ;D

I was actually hoping for the 77' Championship picture or the picture of Doc Rivers dunking on Notre Dame that they have at the Annex.

Canned Goods n Ammo

I'm guessing more will keep being added.

As far as the Golden Eagle comment... oh brother...  ::)

You heard it here first. Davante Gardner will be a Beast this year.

A lot of those pictures look really cool.  I'll pay the S&H to get one of those.

KC_Warrior

I got this in my inbox the other day and didn't see that anyone else had posted it.  Seems MU has partnered with this company to sell photos.  They are offering a a free 9 x 12 photo or $34.95 off a larger size.  Click the link below.

Does anyone know where to get a reasonably priced 9 x 12 frame that would look nice with these?

The shaka sign, sometimes known as "hang loose", is a gesture of friendly intent often associated with Hawaii and surf culture.

I agree they need to put up more pictures of Al than that one.

Those shorts were too dang short :-X

I was a prepubescent teen when the photo Brewcity linked to above.  It shows Al with three players in '72.  Someone help me out here I know the guys on either end are Maurice Lucas and Larry McNeil.  Is that Gary Grescz(sp?) in the middle?  He didn't play much.

Ahoya06

The two older photos I'd love are the famous one of Al with the outstretched arms, and the '77 team photo in the car. I think they're available at the MU archives.

Or, someone might happen to have a hi-res copy they can post here?   ;)

The white dude between Lucas and McNeil is Mike "Spider" Mills.

I know all of you are dying to know, but I'm ordering the photo of TC cutting down the net.

Of course, Mike Mills.  I believe he was a 7 footer, maybe only 6'10" or 6'11", but he doesn't look that tall in the shot.  I guess Mo was like 6'8" and McNeil 6'9".  I suppose I could look it up couldn't I?
