we may not be a sweet 16 team (then again we may be, we'll see) but we are a final four team based on heart!

However, we sure gave this one away.

FT's argggghhhhhhhhhhhh!!!!!

warriors_mu

With the way we shot FTs, we didn't deserve to win this one.

exactly - we let them hang around.  Ugh, great effort but it doesn't count for sh*t

mviale

wrong - selection committee will consider this loss
You heard it here first. Davante Gardner will be a Beast this year.

yeah, that's what we need.  more moral victories for the selection committee to consider.

15th and Kil

Let's hope the selection committee gives us an A for effort.

I guess the worst part is that if MU would have pulled this one out and won at Syracuse next week, anything they would have done in the BET would have been gravy, in my mind. Barring a first round BET exit, MU's seed would have been solid heading into NYC. With a W today, MU could have been pushing a 4 seed in the NCAA's. I don't know if MU lost anything on the seed line, but obviously nothing was gained.

so rawpuppy, do you believe in moral victories?  I'm sure we moved up in the committee's eyes losing a very winnable game on our home court.  Highly doubt this helped us.

Hayward's o-fer didn't help either.  still, we were right there and blew it.

Didn't help us, but I don't think it will hurt us.

so funny! a guy who shows up after our first loss in 6 games decides to complain and make fun of my name, you must be a hit at all the parties.

and i wasn't attacking. I was just pointing out that you won't know if it mattered that we lost by two in OT or had we been blown out.  Lets say we win the next two, win one in NY and then lose and end up with a 5 seed.  We won't know if we would have been a 6 had we lost by 20.

Actually have been a member of this board for quite some time dog.  Just don't see the need to run up posts.  Like I said, we'll see when the selections come out.

And yeah, I am a hit at parties... you are too easy pal.
