I really enjoy watching the way Shaka and his staff are working the sophomores and frosh into the lineup. He gets them great experience in the first half and keeps the upperclassmen fresher for the second half. This hopefully will help MU as the season progresses and next year.

We R Final Four

I also think it an injury to starting five hedge.

It is basketball 101.  Develop your players.

Who are you kidding, Shaka doesn't develop players. They stay at dung level or with heads up their rectum, talk to Willard.
Goal is National Championship

Yep. Plus some players to absorb some of the fouls that are (realistically) inevitable. Without them on Saturday, Chase and Stevie may have been on the bench earlier or fouled out.

One more thing- the opponents have more MU players to figure out, and different combinations of MU players mix things up for the defenders.

I have always like that Shaka is not afraid to let the younger play together, sometimes with only 1-2 starters in the game. The soph's look to be gaining some confidence and that is promising moving forward.

That is really a good point and a great way to play deep into your rotation giving starter a break, and throwing off defenders.    Very good.
