If we win at Xavier on Saturday it will end the longest current drought on 2-0 starts in the Big East. Even DePaul and Georgetown have has more recent 2-0 league starts.

The last time we started 2-0 was in 2012-13 when Vander Blue led us to our first Big East title and the Elite 8. They started 4-0 before taking a loss in conference play. The program's best Big East start was 2008-09 when the Three Amigos started 9-0.
