Quote from: NextChampionship on November 16, 2024, 03:36:22 PMI was pretty impressed with the intensity of the crowd last night. I wasn't expecting a Big 10 fanbase with a home football game the following day to be so into a November non con game.

I got the sense that the fans understood that we're a really good team.

They were a little brasher and louder than I expected, but I guess I'm used to the indifference of the Georgetown crowds.

It was a good crowd. We have a lot better sweatervests than them though. They sat on their hands the whole game. Students were loud and good. Georgetown crowd gives December buy game when students are on break vibes...but like 10x worse. They don't even sell tickets in the upper deck for lots of games. It's really sad.

Crabcakes served at the concession stands?

Also in honor of Pope Leo,  I have no enemies.  I have brothers and sisters I sometimes disagree with.

Can't believe we're living in the land of F 452/1984/Animal Farm/Brave New World/Handmaid's Tale. When travel to Mars begins, expect Starship Troopers

Even during the Dukiet years, the students booed the sweater vests.

No. But lots of crabby fans after we took them down.
Wild horses couldn't drag me into either political party, but for very different reasons.

Probably just thinking of Brian Wardle as their next coach.

Props to Willard for being able to get his face to match that Maryland red by the way.
