Shamelessly ripping off the internet....
Don't let kids handle the big dangerous fireworks.   Let the adults who have been drinking all day do it.
Luke 6:45   ...A good man produces goodness from the good in his heart; an evil man produces evil out of his store of evil.   Each man speaks from his heart's abundance...

It is better to be fearless and cheerful than cheerless and fearful.

As the Founding Fathers intended.

Well you have a history of poor judgement, so that doesn't surprise me.

Over 13 million seem to enjoy it.

Yeah, and "The Phantom Menace" was a box-office hit.

I vomit every time they play at my town fireworks display.
A song written about his father disobeying orders, f'n off and blowing his hand off.

God Bless the USA is about his father blowing his hand off?!

The amusing thing is Lee Greenwood had a really good career.  Like 7-8 Country #1s, bunch of gold records, but anyone who wasn't around when he was topping charts with Kenny Rogers in the 70s-early 80s just thinks he's a one hit wonder off of some patriotic shlock.

Though to be fair he's fully steered into it and that song has made him a fortune and far more than the rest of his career combined I'm sure

The full story was that his dad "loved the USA" despite being dishonorably discharged for blowing his hand off when disobeying orders in army training.
