While the Big East's TV money is close to a rounding error compared to the Big Ten's, when you split out the basketball component from the football piece, you get a great sense of how well the Big East did.

Thanks for continuing this great analysis, Andrei. This is just incredible:

And then there's the ACC. Hoo boy, if you ever want to make someone mad, just tell them DePaul and Butler will be doubling what Duke and North Carolina are getting directly from TV revenue for their basketball.

Thanks for the analysis.

Big East has an excellent deal on an absolute and relative basis.

Wow the ACC should probably just fold now.
Why? They will get a new deal in just............ 12 years. ;D

It certainly illustrates why FSU and Clemson (plus ?,?,?) want out now. The gap will only look more comical in 5-6 years.

Great, just need to keep beating the other P4 in the out of conference schedule and do well in the NCAA tournament.

Agree. Four nattys since our conference was founded vs. zero, nada, none, zilch for the mighty Big 10 since 2000.  ;D

Now, if when Marquette begins to shine in the tourney, I think the dream of a Marquette natty will become a reality.
Wild horses couldn't drag me into either political party, but for very different reasons.
