UW played their Super Bowl on Saturday. MU had bigger things coming yesterday. MU looked like a team that expected to show up, roll the ball out, and dominate. UW played like it was the last time they'd ever compete for anything. They punched MU in the mouth and MU never really responded.

Yesterday was the MU effort we know. Even through most of the first half we were missing bunnies, but the effort was there. We competed. And then shots started to fall and it was over. Didn't let the foot off the gas until the walk ons came in.

Hopefully the UW game was a good lesson and not a red flag. If you don't show up to play, you'll lose on the road most nights. GTown and DePaul might only require your D game. Everyone else you have to bring it or you'll get picked off.
