If I'm not mistaken Socks the Cat ( Bill Clinton's kitten) was the last White House feline.

Commander is not the first Biden Doig that bit people in the White House. His Dog Major (also a German Shepherd) had to be relocated back to their Delaware house in early 2021 because he was also biting WH staff.

He even has his own Wiki page.
