Alcaraz withdraws from Cincy.  It looks unlikely he'll play in the USOpen.

Extremely concerning/upsetting.

Shelton likes the speed of these courts.  He's absolutely throttling serves & forehands.

I don't like his attitude. Something about him screams "not humble". Unlike Taylor Fritz or Tennys Sandgren

The USOpen courts don't play as fast as Montreal.  They slowed down Wimbledon and the USOpen to get longer rallies for the men.  Shelton's wide seve to the ad court is much more dangerous on a faster court.  For him to beat the top 4 players at Grandslams, he has to get way more free points on his serve and after unloading on his forehand.

I can't put my finger on it but it feels like he doesn't get it.  A little too flashy for my taste.
I'd stuff a manatee in a dumpster fire if it made me a nickel

He's a bit too exuberant for not having won a Major.  But I will say he did play his best tennis of his career over the last week or so, and is clearly the best American men's player right now.   Maybe he will "get it" at some point and find a way to hit his backhand more consistently.

I'm not sure he's smart enough to get it and quit being so hip hop
