How do I join the Alumus conversation? I am old and have forgotten how to join the bunch, though I have so much to contribute as an alum during the Eddie Hickey years.

Hello, wildbillsb, and welcome back to Scoop!
If you were at Marquette during the Eddie Hickey years, then you are a proud Octogenarian, and we are blessed to have you contributing to this board.

I had forgotten that Eddie Hickey began his coaching career in the late 1930s at Creighton, where he was an alumnus.

There's nothing wrong with staying within this very thread and telling some tales from your time at MU, presumably in the early 1960s, as that was the meat of Hickey's coaching career at Marquette.

If anything from another thread catches your eye, feel free to hop in there and relate it to the Hickey years. Again, blessed to have you!

Have you seen Shaka's current squad? What is your take on them?

This thread would be perfect to hear some Eddie Hickey stories? Who is your favorite pre Al players? Thoughts on the team this year? I think we all would love to hear some Eddie Hickey stories.
