During the game, I looked up his record wondering how long he had been at ND and when he might retire, and was amazed that he is only 63 years old. I could have sworn that he was in his early 70s.

Younger Mike Brey wore suits and a turtleneck. Now he looks like a golf pro who stayed out the night before.

Ive found I liked him substantially more since he stopped wearing the dark t-shirt/suit coat "Im the GM at a mid tier strip club" outfit.  And grew a beard.

I didn't find anything about it?  It was refreshing to hear him be honest about his team and the game they just played.  Would have preferred more of that from monotone wojo back in the dark days instead of his scripted bullcrap

I loved Brey's conference. No coach-speak! Just direct and focused comments on what happened and why.

Though I have to admit, I'd love that out of Shaka but this board would go crazy!
