#whoWeAre Series
« on: October 05, 2021, 02:03:08 PM »
MUBB is putting out a series of videos on youtube called #whoWeAre. Seems like they are responding to the reality that fans really know next to nothing about the team this year given all the new faces on the bench. First one is up, definitely worth it if you have 5 minutes:

Was hoping for some like 30sec blurbs by a few players about themselves.

But that Joplin kid looks like he’s gonna be a handful this year. I like it.

Thanks for posting that, TAMU. Looks like a lot of good athletes, and looks like they have fun together. Can't wait to see 'em play. Season starts 5 weeks from today!

Might be the most explosive group of athletes we have had. Let's see how that comes together on the floor.

I hope not literally explosive. That would be messy!

Looks like they like each other.   The looks in their eyes as they were peeking out into the Al says they were more impressed and excited than us jaded old farts.

Hey! I resemble resent that remark.

It looks like a really great "team." I expect we will not have to worry about the slapping of fives.

I am beginning to think that Marquette is a chaos agent this year again. Will beat some teams we have no business beating. Will also definitely drop a game or two that we have no business losing. Either way, a good group of kids and athletes that should be fun (albeit frustrating at times) to watch grow on the court.
Assume what I say should be in teal if it doesn't pass the smell test for you.

I like those warm up shirts they were wearing. That might find its way onto my Christmas list.

Second episode is up. Behind the scenes at Big East media day and the team retreat in Chicago. Team got speeches from Bradford Burges (former VCU player and current Coach of Player Development for the Bulls) and Billy Donovan.

Darryl Morsell looked like Jerel McNeal in a few of those shots, he's got the same smirk.

If only his track record indicated he could score like they did.
