Beating St John's was the 291st win of Shaka's career. I made a note of the 28 wins he needed to get there when he was hired because he's young enough that he could have some really gaudy career totals.

Anyway...with his 19th win, the BET bye, and a NCAA bid certain, Shaka could earn his 300th career win this season if he wins both the Big East and NCAA Tournaments.

Unlikely? Sure. But far more likely than it seemed when I noticed that 272 win total back in March 2021.

I think he ends this year with 94 wins.

2 next week and a first round tourney win is my though.

Would obviously rather all 3 just come in the big dance though.

After Shaka wins the Natty, it will take 30 years of 30 wins per year to pass K. So expect it to happen in 2053.
