Saw something today on the Jumbotron at the Kohl hole that I thought MU could do at Fiserv. Prior to the game, the video screen went around the Big Ten and showed live cut ins of other games ongoing.
Later in the game, they announced final scores within the conference.
Would like to see MU steal a little of that and update fans at games. Crowd loves it.

Yes, they showed Big Ten games on the Jumbotron a lot. I love that concept. The Bradley Center always had the "out of town scoreboard".  I miss that for NBA / CBB / USMNT.  Stop making me check my phone, especially bc Fiserv wifi is like Soviet Russia grade tech.

Also, the Kohl Center had Dipping Dots, not sure people know this but those are the Ice Cream of the Future.

Some apartment management company sponsored a very lame contest.  They had two students select other students wearing sandwich boards of each of their properties.  Then they proceeded to do an infomercial on each property.  Each board was worth a number of points. The kid who selected the boards with the greatest number of points received free rent at one of the Madison apartments.  Painful.

I thought it was cringeworthy for a variety of reasons, but in a 2nd pandemic holiday season where there are still plenty suffering, it felt extremely insensitive

First time I saw it in relation to UW sports was at a hockey game in the 70s.

This is a great idea.  Unrelated but I think they need to do this for baseball and football at the games and at home.  It would make the games infinitely more watchable, especially because there is so much down time in both sports.  I know they do it a little during football telecasts but not frequent enough.  In baseball there are zero cut ins for most local telecasts and at stadiums.
