Missed the game, but quite pleased to see only a 3 pt loss at Notre Dame

No grade for good effort.  Coulda been a win.

I am feeling a little better.  Need to go 5-2 the rest of the way.

... this game was not 'really' a three-point loss.

Dominic James' tenacious play in the closing minute narrowed what was a 10-point margin in a game that showcased many of Marquette's problems, including Ousmane Barro's terrible play, especially on offense, and many, many, many missed "bunnies" by other MU players.

what about ND's 13-2 run at the end of first half - Bball is all about streaks.  We came up 1 shot short.

a loss is a loss - but prefer these over UL routs.

The Lens

we have our issues but for the 1st time since Duke we lost but weren't blown out.  I was impressed w/ out fight at the end.  I wish TC would press all game, we certainly have the horses.  Let's beat The Hall and come home to 18,000 at the BC for Pitt.

I agree about Pitt - we need that one

It was a good effort today, and there are a lot of positives to take. I am optimistic and hope this is the beginning of a turn around, but I am concerned that we are running out of time for moral victories. (Plus, the selection committee won't recall the fight to come back a couple of times; they'll see the loss.) The good showing did help us bounce back from Monday's game, but the loss does mean that victory at Seton Hall is almost a must.
