Hey guys,

New to MUScoop here.  Big MU fan, and starting to get hooked on this site, so I just registered.  I was watching halftime of the UNC Kentucky game on CBS, and Seth Davis was giving his Final Four prediction.  He said Kansas, Flordia, Pittsburgh, and then he said, just to show he wasn't all talk or chalk or something, said Marquette.  I was kinda shocked, but loving the press.  Let's beat North Dakota St. tonight and kick some tail in the process, show the rodents how to beat this team.  Go MU!!

just watching the halftime show of the kentucky vs UNC game.  Seth Davis was on giving his picks of the season.  He listed DJ as the top point guard in the country and in his final 4 predictions he had Kansas, Pitt, Florida, and MARQUETTE.  his quote was that good guard play gets you deep and this marquette team has great guards with a devolping big man in Ooze.

ill take those predictions any day.  good to hear the press of Marquette and Final 4.  it's been awhile.

Welcome and glad to have you.

First Bilas, now Davis.  The hype is unbelievable this year.  But looking around the NCAA, maybe it's actually warranted.

Dont forget the New York times Preseason basketball section that had Mu in the Finals against FLa.!!  That should help recruiting in the NYC  :)

I love the press but we've got to stay level-headed and focus on the season game by game.

I think if we do this, we'll look up at the end of the season and have a great record.  At the begining of the season, I said we'd get a 3 seed or at worst, be the top 4 seed.  Looking at our wins vs. Texas Tech & Duke, I'm starting to think that we could very well earn a 3.  If we beat Wisconsin next week, I think we lock up a 3 and will start to work toward a 2 seed.  A LOT of basketball to go but I like how our seeding outlook is taking shape.

FIRE UP MARQUETTE!!!

I saw this too, and was quite shocked, Marquette has looked good, but for an analyst to pick MU, as an MU fan, I can even come up with 4 teams that I think out match us pretty easily (OSU, Florida, UCLA, UNC), as well as some others, however, as the NCAA's has gone lately, the favorites always don't win, and hopefully Marquette and TC keeps their cool and doesn't blow this hype that they deserve
