Side note, he's also the only player left that has played at the FF with fans in attendance.  Even if you include coaching staff, it's only him and Cam? that have even witnessed it (unless Dex did an in person visit when being recruited).

Good point.   I hadn't considered that since I was thinking walk ons would have to earn a spot again with a new coach.  But I completely made that up in my head...

Which brings up another question.  Do they keep all of last years walk ons or do they have to earn a spot again with a new coach?

I wonder how the conversation with Dex went. The kid red shirted last year, appeared ready to play over the summer and then gets hit with COVID so we really never saw what he could do. Really a bad break all around. First off I hope he has recovered his strength and if he is not staying hope he can land in a good spot.

Dexter was a redshirt freshman in 19/20 so he witnessed fans. Not playing, but he was in the bench.
