There were a few instances against UNC where both Dawson and Theo were out by the free throw line at the same time setting picks for Carton.  Carton was like weaving in and out among the large trees.  I wonder if this would also be effective with other guards such as Symir and Koby and with other pick setters like Justin, Perez, Cain and Osa.

I'd think it would depend on the matchup. There was a lot vs UNC because they played 2 bigs and the chance of a favorable matchup for DJ on the switch, or pick and roll with Dawson or Theo, was greater. I'd like to see them do it more even with less favorable matchups just to give DJ a shot at exploiting.

As for the other guards? probably, but it's difficult to set a double screen for Sy when he's slowly backing up towards the mid court line while dribbling.

The double screen near the foul line has been a play all during Wojo's tenure.  JjJ got a lot of points off of it.  Haanif got good looks going the other way.   It was run for Sacar, but he never looked comfortable.    JjJ probably used it best.

Used best with a slasher with size who is comfortable finishing at the rim.  I don't like it for Koby because of his two foot jump stop.   I don't like it for Cain because it involves dribbling.   Greg and contact.   If Dexter were to play again, I would be interested to see it run for him.   Perez is too slow.   Symir could run it, he would just have to believe he could run it.

Was Dexter dressed for the UNC game?
