Sad day in many respects.  He brought women's soccer to a national level at MU.  Was wonderful to work with and for back in the day.  Wishing him nothing but success in the future.  Hopefully MU is able to find someone to fill the role that achieves the success MU wants.
"I hate everything about this job except the games, Everything. I don't even get affected anymore by the winning, by the ratings, those things. The trouble is, it will sound like an excuse because we've never won the national championship, but winning just isn't all that important to me." Al McGuire

Yea he had a couple of special teams my first few years at MU. One with legitimate final four aspirations.

Couldn't maintain the success after that though.

I guess this means MU fans will no longer be Roeders Rooters.
