Just took a look at every team within a game of MU to see who their mirror opponents were and compared them to MU's own mirror opponents.  So far, it looks like MU got the toughest mirrors of the teams with whom they are competing as they have a combined winning percentage of about 62%.  ND and PC each have mirror opponents with 59% winning percentage.  SHU and WVU have, by far the easier of the mirror opponents with SHU opponents having a combined 32% winning percentage and WVU's opponents having a 38% winning percentage.

I guess my point is, at least from looking at the mirror opponents, MU has the tougher of the schedules compared with the teams they are competing with for spots 2-12( :o).

Of course, this does not take into account home-away splits for the remaining teams, i.e., which teams have easier road schedules which may enable them to rack up a few more wins by holding serve at home and then grabbing a few on the road.

Just thought it was interesting to see.  Obviously, when they selected the mirrors, they did not expect ND and SHU to be where they are.  Teams who have either SFU or SJU as mirrors as both those teams have been pretty bad.

Right now I am looking at tie breakers.

We own tie breakers with Providence and DePaul.
We are on the wrong side of tie breakers with West Virginia and UConn.

Tie breakers will make a big difference in this conference at year-end.

keep in mind that tie-breakers are not head to head.. they're mini-conference based.....
