Nice article on a MU alum who got a job at the Bucks 50 years ago..
https://www.jsonline.com/story/news/2019/10/07/priceless-john-steinmiller-marks-50th-season-milwaukee-bucks/3865236002/

This is a sports story from another time.

It's September 1970, a Marquette University senior named John Steinmiller is sitting with some fraternity friends over lunch. He hears that the Milwaukee Bucks are looking for a four-hour-a-week part-timer to change the marquee above the team's downtown office.

I thought this was going to be about Wes.
"I am one of those who think the best friend of a nation is he who most faithfully rebukes her for her sins—and he her worst enemy, who, under the specious and popular garb of patriotism, seeks to excuse, palliate, and defend them" - Frederick Douglass

JS is a good dude.
"I hate everything about this job except the games, Everything. I don't even get affected anymore by the winning, by the ratings, those things. The trouble is, it will sound like an excuse because we've never won the national championship, but winning just isn't all that important to me." Al McGuire
