Playing #12 Miami in Tampa. 9 BE Teams overall

Marquette
The loss at UConn isn't looking quite so bad all of a sudden. Still, the Golden Eagles need to find a way to win on the road in the Big East.

Why seeded here?
InsideRPI No. 20; SOS No. 32.

May change because:
Three of the next five are on the road.

Good Wins
RPI 1-25: @Wisconsin
RPI 26-50: Providence, Notre Dame

Bad Losses
RPI 101-200: none
RPI 201+: none

Marquette is always going to get screwed and be forced to face a BCS team during the tourney.

Give me a small mid major I would feel much more confident.

Doesnt hurt Miami that the game would be in TAMPA

Not that this would be our actual game but I would hate to play Miami in Florida...I think we'd be the underdog and it wouldn't be an upset

How about Tulsa?   ;)

Yeeeeesh... I know this has been posted before, but here are the first/second round game sites:

Anaheim, CA
Birmingham, AL
Denver, CO
Little Rock, AR
Omaha, NE
Raleigh, NC
Tampa, FL
Washington, DC

What's the best we could do?  Omaha?  DC?

Apparently the NCAA was somewhat pissed off at the Big East (minus USF, not exactly a tourney contender) and the Big Ten when deciding upon these locations...

bilsu

Selection depends on who bids to be a host site.

Well, if you're not in Milwaukee, you maybe okay from the fan standpoint  ;).  I'm in Atl, so Birmingham would be great, Raleigh not too bad.  You're right though, that sucks for MU.

muarmy81

Right on Scooter, I'm in the ATL also.  I'd definitely make it for a Birmingham game or even a Raleigh or Tampa game but to me it also depends on who we're playing.  If we get UNC at Raleigh then that sucks even worse so hopefully we'd end up with Oregon State or somebody out of the region at Alabama, or something to that effect.

NavinRJohnson

I say we focus on the positive...If we get placed in the Midwest, the regional is at Ford Field. That's an easy trip. Then again, its in Detroit, so maybe not. Windsor here we come!

patso

We could have beaten Tulsa if Wade had hogged the ball a little more.
