It will be interesting how he spins this?

He has nothing to spin.
He is the head coach, dealing with circumstances. Jimmy Chitwood isn't ready to take the floor....oh well. Sam and Joey quit on their teammates and coaches....goodbye.

Zenyatta has a lot....a lot... of ground to make up. She gets there from here she'd be a super horse......what's this.....Zenyatta hooked to the grandstand side....Zenyatta flying on the outside....this....is...un-belieeeeeevable!...looked impossible at the top of the stretch...

I agree that the Hauser's quit on the team.Did not know that the Hauser's had "I" in them.I am siding with Wojo on this one.Sam's decision to transfer is worse than the decision that  Odartey Blankson made.

What if they aren't the only one's to leave?? Will you side with Wojo then?? Or what will it take for you to see there's an internal problem??

I'd love to read the emails Scholl got yesterday(assuming he got several).

I want this quote to serve as a reminder to the vast majority of scoop posters in regards to the MU BB program.

Sorry but I've been a "keep Wojo around" guy but it's hard to see what's happened over the last 24 hours and honestly feel that the program is being run well.

A coach coaches a team. Other than the general idea of being the "captain of the ship" it's unclear what Wojo did wrong. If someone wants to argue he could've/should've been better at coddling that's fine. But I don't subscribe to that coaching practice in basketball or life. I don't love this, but when I heard more details about the end of the season and past couple of weeks I don't see what Wojo did that almost every coach of men does.

Coddling?  No, no, no, sir.  If you think that was the problem, you probably didn't watch much MUBB.  It seems clear that a driving factor in the Hauser's leaving is that Wojo allowed (encouraged) Markus Howard to take 20 shots per game and the team ended the season as a complete dumpster fire as a direct result.  Markus is a talent, no doubt, but a good coach would never encourage that type of usage from any one player.  Look at Bud's use of Giannis.  Everyone loves playing for the Bucks because of how egalitarian the system is despite Giannis being a generational talent.  Everyone hated playing for Kidd because he played Giannis and Middleton 40mpg and iso'd them the whole time.  Great example of the contrast between a good coach and a bad coach with a largely similar roster.  Wojo is a bad coach, I don't blame the Hausers for cutting their losses (something the university should've done after our NIT bid) and moving on.

Goose

I said four months ago, Howard is not a top ten all time player in program history. DWade could have scored 35 every night at MU, and equally poor coach did not encourage that. Seriously, Howard is a great weapon, not a great overall player.

Whoa. Very well said.

And as goose said: Howard is an amazing weapon. Here is hoping that Koby and Greg run the point and disperse the ball appropriately. A thing our PG last year did not even come close to doing.
