Sandy Cohen and UWGB to play in CIT title game

Sandy and Green Bay beat Texas Southern 87-86 tonight to advance to the title game vs Marshall, it will be Sandy's final college game as well. Not sure what day and time the title game will be on TV though curious if someone else knew?

The game will be Thursday at Marshall University, in Huntington, West Virginia.  FYI, in a season an a half Sandy has scored more than a thousand points.  He must like home cooking.  The coach up in Green Bay seems to get the most out of his players.  When GB went to the NCAA Tournament in Coach Darner's first season one of the seniors who was having a career year put it this way, "coach teaches confidence."  Watching Cohen tonight he looked "confident."  Green Bay beat Texas Southern in overtime -- a team with five high major transfers and a coach who had spent five seasons as the head man at LSU and 11 at North Texas.

Thursday's game will be on CBS Sports Net.

FYI, in a season an a half Sandy has scored more than a thousand points.  He must like home cooking.  The coach up in Green Bay seems to get the most out of his players. 

According to kenpom, they play at the 12th fastest tempo in all of college, so a lot of people score a lot of points. Unfortunately, their best year was the coach's first year and they have fallen off quite a bit from where they were under Wardle.
