Reseeding the 32. Murray State vaults

It is not luck that certain coaches routinely have their team in the NCAA tourney and in a position to win tourney games.  No one is demanding championships...but the ending to this year was disappointing to say the least.

Per ESPN ratings, please read the opening post in this thread, no.  Not today at least.  Not against FSU, which if you also read what I said, FSU will win because of their athletes and depth.  Wear them out.  Nothing surprising.  If you read the first post in this thread, I said per ESPNs POV....the point was, they were no 12 seed, but that doesn't make them better than FSU either.  Both can and are true.

Murray State, at least via ESPN eyes, goes to 16 and vaults teams seeded higher including Washington, Minnesota, Purdue, Oklahoma, Baylor, LSU (3 seed), Maryland, OSU, Iowa, Florida, UCF, Wofford and FSU.   

They were definitely better than a 12 seed.  Bad luck for us in the draw....not bad luck for us on the court, they were the better team by far.  Better to get a 6, 7, or 8 than a 5 seed.

Meanwhile, Buzzard's opponent is 32nd, and last in the reseed.

Turns out MSU struggles when they play a decent team with a decent gameplan.

Today's game just sours me on Wono even more. MSU is very beatable. Just need the right plan and the right coaching. Which we obvious lack.

ESPN "eyes" - LOL. Murray St over FSU, FSU wins by 28. Villanova over Purdue, Purdue wins by 28. Not surprised they're your "experts" - great minds think alike.

Based on body of work, yes.  Based on recency...no.  MU should have received a 7 to 10 based on recency.  Sagarin has Murray State 23rd in recency, which would have been a 5 seed. Again, why it sucks to be in the 5 hole because your opponent is either a team red hot, or a mid major who is damn damn good that no one talks about.

1. The 23rd ranked team does not equate to a 5 seed. #1s are 1-4, #2s 5-8, #3s 9-12, #4s 13-16, #5s 17-20, #6s 20-24.

2. Ask Auburn how much it sucks to be a 5 seed. You can catch up with them in Minneapolis this coming weekend.
