Can anybody give a reason why MU did not play zone?It was quite obvious we could not guard Murray ST man to man.It was a lay up drill

Because they haven't played it all year since defense wasn't a problem.

Air Punch Mu played one possession of zone and Murray St missed the shot.Dont know what you are talking about.You need to try something else instead of what was not working.

Well guess what Fluffy Blue Monster it was a big problem today.Murray st. shot 54%.Better figure it out.I dont care if they did not play much zone this year.They should have today.You needed to slow Morant down and they made no adjustments.

We did for one possession and got a stop and then went back to m2m. Even the girl calling the game clowned Wojo for it

This team was greatly improved defensively this year and hardly, if ever, played zone.  It wouldn't have made a difference.

The problem with the defense was how they extended it so far out.  They should have made Morant beat them by shooting.  Instead he got going downhill too often.  This isn't what they did all year.
