The season isn’t over yet

Guys, let's be honest, this team has been pretty overrated this entire year. As others on this board have mentioned, we were due to come back down to earth. We were consistently rated 10-20 in the AP poll this season but most computer numbers had us rated in 25-40 range. (Current KenPom is #28 and TRank is #34).

This season, in total, has still been incredibly special and Marquette has had some impressive wins that should not be discounted. It feels worse because we were so close to winning the BE title outright and lost it with some bad basketball.

That being said, I'd also like to remind everyone that the season isn't over yet. There's still plenty of basketball to be played:

• Seton Hall COULD beat Nova on Saturday (T-rank win probably for Nova is 55%)
• Georgetown just got blown out by DePaul yesterday, so in theory, Marquette should be able to pull out a W on Saturday   
• T-Rank gives Marquette a 38% chance of sharing the BE title with Nova

Also, we don't know what will happen in the BET but Marquette could get its act together and respond with a few wins. Let's not forget this is the same team that won 8 Big East games in a row.
