True, but 1 point in  the last 5:17?  Very bad offense down the stretch and very bad defensive rebounding down the stretch.  We did a ton of things wrong and still were in a position to win near the end.  Not the end of the world, but still a tough pill to swallow.

i think that was poor coaching at the end.  without howard, we were 7-3 differential with the lead.  the group was playing great team ball.  then a timeout at 3 minutes and change, subs howard in for chartouny, then all downhill from there.  has to play the hot hand, and wojo didn't.  howard should have stayed on the bench

Here is my biggest gripe all year long. I am finally going to say it. Everyone on this team except for Cain has the longest leash for turnovers. Cain gets one turnover and he's bench for several games. He is our best rebounder yet he sits on the bench while everybody turns the ball over. We couldn't rebound worth a lick tonight and yet our best rebounder sits on the bench. OK gotcha makes sense.

Agreed.  My only issue is that I like a guy who has been on the bench for a long time to get in the flow of the game before shooting.  Would have preferred Howard be a facilitator for a possession or two before going into shoot mode.  But I would have put him back in the game at the same time Wojo did.

The only call gutsier than that would've been was when you decided to put this thought into text.

Markus carried them in overtime though and ended up with 53.   Not that Hauser should touch the ball more but I am perfectly comfortable with Markus shooting at the end of the game.

having howard distribute more to get in the flow would have been nice, but he was shoot first all game long.  I'm not sure.  At what point do you just roll with the hot group?  Does he owe it to howard to have him play, despite it disrupting the team flow?

the rebounding at the end was atrocious, right there.  At the end of the day you're right, it's probably wise to sub in one of the best players in the country.  It's good to see the team do well without him in there though, especially late

Jermaine didnt beat us, sloppy ball handling the first 10 minutes and an inability to rebound the last 5 is why we lost.
