Is NW supposed to be decent this year? I get they're friends and a high Major but given the strength of our schedule right out the gates I'd prefer if we were scrimmaging a quality team.

Did I insinuate it wasn't? I was saying I wish they were scrimmaging a good team so when we are playing Indiana the first week of the season we aren't  caught off guard and then all of us need to say "well it was the first real test of the year"

Bart Torvik has them as a top-50 team and they will likely be starting 4 seniors and 1 junior. The Big 10 is a logjam and they will likely be somewhere in the middle of it. At this point, their outlook is probably that of a bubble team. They aren't a great team, but they also aren't a bad one.

I don't think it matters one bit as long as its a P6 team.

So you're essentially saying you'd rather scrimmage a power 6 Rutgers or Ole Miss over say Gonzaga or Nevada? Look all I wanted to know was if they'd be good and test us.
