Good article at The Athletic about #TheThing. Basically it lays out how Rowsey drawing 3-shot fouls was worth about 2.7 ppp, which is frankly ridiculous.

There won't be a rule change.    I just hope Rowsey taught Markus well enough before he left.    What a weapon if Markus starts using it.

Seriously.  Markus didn't show much willingness to do it last season, but hopefully he worked on it this offseason.  Such a weapon.

In the days before the 3 pointer , the Bulls Chet Walker used the pump fake on his base line mid range game  to great effectiveness and drew fouls consistently and created the old school 3 point play sometimes. 

Andrew Rowsey took Walkers concept to a higher level. It was a real treat to watch that the last couple of years.
