I went back to read the Wiki entry for the 1993-94 Marquette team. What stood out:

• MU set an NCAA record for FG% defense (currently 2nd in NCAA history)

• I didn't recall losing to UW-Green Bay, Wisconsin, Notre Dame or Cincinnati in the first round of the conference tournament; the win against Kentucky to go to the Sweet 16 was the entire season in my mind

Also, that team was led by 3 seniors (McIlvaine, Key, Logterman) and 2 juniors (Miller, Gates).
