O.K., we all know why the coaches do it, and we all know the typical outcome; a close, nail bitter, adrenaline charged Big East finish.   It is a self fulfilling prophesy, the refs., the coaches, the bookies, the players, and the fans are all in on it. 
Lets play ball....

I think I'll go to sleep tonight and stay in bed,  no need being up at 2:30 in the morning ECT, to witness a typical ending. 
I'll read about it in the morning.  No way we will be up by double digits, we and they will play to the script and the close ending is foretold.
