Dr. Blackheart

Villinova (2), Xavier (7), MU (13), Creighton (16) and Hall (tied for 20) are Pomeroy's top offenses. No other conference has near that many top offenses, even with more teams in their football amalgamations.

Two of our losses were to teams in the Top 10 (WSU and Purdue). MU Achilles Heal is the (by far) worst defense in the Big East (147...dipping just below the Mendoza Line after AU). The lads seem to be improving here, and Wojo has been throwing different looks out there (zone, trap) in prep for the BE season.

End of the day, MU needs to outshoot the conference foes to win, but that will be a chore as the other teams can go lights out too. Any lick of defense helps the cause. Glad Harry is now playing and Theo is advancing to have more bodies to protect the paint. Lace up the big boy shoes.
