I'm sorry if this has been discussed, but I couldn't find it. Anyone know if Marquette season ticket holders get priority/discounts for the Milwaukee games? And if so, how do get them?

HubrisFoiled

you might be about a year late on this question....

Yeah..that thought crossed my mind

I've bought MU/Milwaukee tickets before .. not great seats, not great selling them.

In conclusion, don't worry .. plenty of tickets available on the street.

Cheapest tickets online are $66 for session 1 Thursday. Would you recommend holding off on buying those?

HubrisFoiled

agree that there will be plenty of tickets on the street.  Past years, MU tickets got lower bowl but not all that great.   This year for some reason. about 5 rows behind the basket :)

Admittedly, I'm not an expert at the secondary market.

But I'll guess that $66 is very high.  The BC seats 19,000 people.  There will be thousands of unsold tickets.    Thousands of tickets floating around = low prices.

Thank you. Probably will just scalp. Don't mind being up high.

Scalp. I bought them early 4 years ago when the tourney was here and half the fuggin lower bowl was empty so we moved down and sat 20 rows back.

I definitely paid too much.

Does anyone know if beer will be served at the Bradley Center during the games? I always forget the archaic rules of alcohol and NCAA grandstanding.

cheebs09

It has not been in the past. Not sure if it's changed, but I haven't heard anything saying it has.

robmufan

Was not last time, will not be this time...load up them britches with some non-metallic bottles and order a coke!

Marquette_g

Thank you both for the replies.

I'm sort of surprised, as during my google searches I read that it was served during the Final Four in Jerry World.

robmufan

That is surprising to hear, when they had it in Indy...once again, the plastic flask became your friend.

This.  If UK, KU, UW or MSU was in Milwaukee, $66 would be a bargain.  Butler and ISU are probably the two biggest draws with Minnesota and Purdue not too far behind... but all four of them won't be able to draw the crowd that just one of the Blue Bloods (or UW) would have drawn, which - if they weren't matched up in the first game - would definitely play to the advantage of both Butler & Winthrop, both of whom played to really sh|tty crowds the last time they were at the BC.

Wow, I'm very concerned for Benny.  Being able to mimic Myron Medcalf's writing so closely implies an oncoming case of dementia.
