I don't remember hearing or seeing any trash talking by MU players in the first Xavier game. Has that come up before? I don't like giving Xavier any added motivation to give it back to us. I know they don't exactly need any motivation with the NCAA tourney on the line but I'm surprised by that. We do not seem like a trash talking type of team and would be surprised Wojo would allow it.

Rowsey talks a good about of sh*t.  Whether or not he did against X, I have no idea.  I was at the game, so harder to tell than watching on tv.
I would take the Rick SLU program right now.

Mack did respond to the crowd behind the Xavier bench.  But don't remember seeing any trash talk by the players to X.

I would rank Rowsey and Reinhardt near the top of the "if they were on another team I would hate their guts" power rankings.

The fact that we rub other teams the wrong way does not surprise me in the least.

I was close to the court in Milwaukee.  Duane and Macura were having earnest discussions at some points during the game.

Hope we rub them the wrong way tonight and smash them flat on their backs.

I loved that match-up. Those guys were going at it every minute they were on the court together.

AR KR and DW are champions of trash talk.

Tonights game, the previous Providence game and the upcoming Creighton game are what make the double round robin format so good for developing the rivalries. Xavier knows our kids, we know theirs, and they have it all out on the floor. Crowd is going to be loud and very pro Xavier , our kids job will be to play well and take the crowd out of the game.

Will they? Mack criticized their fans at the Butler game, said they didn't have a good environment. Will a 8 pm Wednesday night game be any better especially with a longer losing streak?

EDIT: The game is 9 pm local time. That's a late night for the fans driving in from Dayton!

Isn't that the whole takeaway from the OP link?  It seems like Mack is expecting a sh|tty crowd tonight; otherwise he wouldn't be begging for support through the media.
Wow, I'm very concerned for Benny.  Being able to mimic Myron Medcalf's writing so closely implies an oncoming case of dementia.
