We lack team speed and jumping ability, none of the big guys are quick jumpers. I love full court D for 40 minutes and we do not have the guys to full court press for 40 seconds a game.

Firing Wojo after this season would be a disaster.

Thankfully, we all know this isn't even close to on the table, even if MU were to go 0-6 and miss the NIT.
If MU goes 0-6 to end the season it would be a disaster to not fire Wojo.

The entire notion to not fire Wojo because he would take kids and MU would have to rebuild all over again as a reason to keep him is nonsense.  Im not saying fire him this year.  But this should not be a reason to keep him.  If and when he leaves that would happen any way.  Its not a reason to keep him on.

Name one coach that could this program around in 2 years.
Well, I know there is at least one person on this site that has lead a team to not only ONE Championship, but TWO back-to-back Championships.
If you think for one second that I am comparing the USA to China you have bumped your hard.

First of all, if Wojo got fired where would he be taking the kids? He will be unemployed, it is not like a coach quitting for another job.

Exactly.  I think Wojo would go back to Duke to be an assistant like Capel or pair up with some other Duke alum at another university.  I mean, what University would hire Wojo anyways?

Agree (and we lack physical strength, too), which is why we can't execute Wojo's preferred defense very well.  The quandary of what defensive scheme to use is made worse when you consider there may not be ANY defense that this particular team could execute well.  I'd try packing in a zone a la Kevin O'Neill, but who knows if it would work with this group?

I love KO but HATED his packed in zone. That said, it was effective and he used to his advantage. Sometimes you need to win ugly and maybe that time is now. All depends if Wojo is playing for the now or the future. If the future, play the young guys and try new things.

I just had iced tea go out my nose.

Very nicely played.

TAMU, Knower of Ball

I do.

If we miss the tournament this year, next year, and the year after that. 3 big ifs.

I do know, Newsie is right on you knowing ball.

we were 13-19 in his first season...20-13 last season...would like to see that trend continue.  if we don't see a better record this year...i'd give him one more year.  i really think for fans to judge him on anything other than wins and losses is extremely difficult as we don't know enough to do so.
