Great write up as usual guys.

A classic match up and a good litmus test for the Marquette defense to show improvement.  UGA gets more of its points inside and at the foul line.  MU very efficient offensively via their formula:  High tempo, low turnover rate, and high eFG% (including 2% where MU is 11th in DI).  MU will score.

Key: Can MU defend the paint without Luke getting into foul trouble?  Past history says no as Luke is a target (and the refs points of emphasis in defending the middle).  The artcle's point about switching from the pressure defense to a flip to zone is indeed the key.  Thus, the committee of Sam, Katin and Matt is my pick to click if MU is to win.

Btw, KPom has MU down to 34 and UGA is at 62, although MU is 1 point disadvantage in his prediction because of the home advantage.  This may be a game where free throw rate matters.

Coin-flip game on the road. Entire season... down to this...one...game.

Maten can get his, but we can't have another guy (or two) step up for them. They won't shoot a lot of threes, but if Maten is doing his thing and they get luck with a 9-18 3FG outing, uh oh.

Today all comes down to... luck.
