Junior college lineman, umm, a pretty good size one at that punches referee and is not only thrown out of the game, but arrested as well.  I'm going to go out on a limb here and say his football career was finished before that ref hit the ground

Wait, there's been a correction, umm, his sister is saying that he actually was punching his helmet and accidentally hit the ref....yup, and he also has pneumonia I suppose.  "People are strange, when you're a stranger" Eyn'a??


But a woman, who identified herself as Schirmer's sister on social media, said that he had actually punched his own helmet - and accidentally hit the referee.

Holy jebus .. and that ref looked knocked out cold.

It was .. almost amusing to see the yellow flag get tossed in the air.  That happens to an opposing team mate, and a brawl would ensue.   

It'd be like an SNL skit, having all the zebras sprinting over to the player, fists wailing, yanking his jersey over his head..

Funny-flags flying from all directions...ya think??  Like they needed a flag to let everyone know a transgression occurred.  Whaaaaat, no refs huddling up in the middle of the field for this call? Can just hear the head ref go, well what did you guys see?  Head ref on the mic to the crowd-we have 2 infractions on the play, encroachment by the defense and illegal hand to the face of a ref.  They will offset and we will replay the down...
