Are their incoming players better than ours?

Creighton is doing well on transfers and regular recruits. I think their coach is doing a heckuva job for them.

That said I like Hauser and Howard a lot and the R & R Boys Reinhardt and Rowsey are proven college players. So we are bringing some decent firepower in as well.

I would take our guys over theirs for immediate impact. But their team was a lot better than ours last year. They played a crappy RPI schedule but they were a top 40 KenPom team. They will be very good.

We beat them once. They beat us once. They finished 1 game ahead of us in the conference standings. I don't think they were a lot better than us last year. We'll see which team improves more. I like our odds.

Marcus and the Creighton coaching staff have a lot of work to do.

His FG%, eFG%, 3PT%, TRB%, assist rate, scoring average and offensive rating all dropped from his freshman season to his sophomore year. Both overall and in conference play. He shot just 35.7% from the field and 24.7% from 3-point range (21-85) in the Big 12 during the 2014-15 season.

He's clearly got a lot of athletic talent. But those aren't exactly the kind of trends you look for in a developing player.

Yep. Not to mention the suspension & getting kicked outta k-state & the injuries while sitting out last year.

Not gonna count him out, but concerns are there

The beauty of the off year is they get to work on improving the kid. Obviously if things were totally hunky dory he would not have transferred.
