Wow, I'm very concerned for Benny.  Being able to mimic Myron Medcalf's writing so closely implies an oncoming case of dementia.

One of the best O's ever. Spent his entire childhood and career with Baltimore.

Hope he isn't playing for the other side now...

One of my favorite urban myths is that the O's canceled a game because Ripken would've missed the start after he found out Kevin Costner was banging his wife.

That Kevin Costner story has been out there for years. As an O's fan I actually enjoyed the story for its tremendous visual, if not absurd, effects!

I chuckled when I read the wife's lawyer's statement:

"Kelly has been a great mother to two fabulous children and a wonderful, faithful wife for the duration of the parties' relationship, which lasted more than 30 years," her attorney, Sanford Ain, said in a statement.

A clear reference to the Costner rumor. I love it when real life is forced to respond to a great internet tale. This is up there with Benny's Myron scam, Ziggy's fake Tanned Tommy Twitter account, and Jen Lada setting up a Scoop account to refute the Coach Peters story!

I am still waiting for Richard Gere to rise up in outrage after decades of people sharing "The Gerbil" saga.

I know a doctor at Cedars who actually took the time to search the ED records to find out definitively if Gere had been admitted carrying a gerbil

What I am outraged by is that PETA hasn't picked up the torch to end the cruel treatment of gerbils. Minks giving up their coats is nothing compared with the horrible treatment meted out to these innocent gerbils. When will these indignities be brought to an end? For the love of God WHEN?
