I voted for three

1 in the BE Tourney (beat STj and lose to X)

2 in The NIT

Thoughts?

Since every time one of these polls comes out we embarrass ourselves, I'll go with 0.

MU in the conference tournament?   :'(

We usually play better on the road (except yesterday), we're undefeated in the City, and we always play and beat SJU in the tournament.  Yet I'm not optimistic we won't play ourselves right off the NIT bubble on Wednesday.  Maybe a practice at that park in Brooklyn to get some magic back.

Not a bad idea at all.  Just a reminder about how far we've come and that we're again 0-0.  This team can have a 'great' season with two trips to NYC.  Let's own that old gym.

Well I had a great dream last night:

We won the big East Tournament to get to the dance as a 10 seed.

Game 1, vs. Notre Dame.  We win in a close battle by good FT shooting down the stretch by Carter and Du. Will.

Game 2 vs. Miami.  We come out on fire.  Cheatham goes 5-6 from 3 and Duane matches it.  We win in a surprisingly easy game.

Game 3 vs. UW.  Wisconsin, upsets the 3 seed to to play us for a spot in the elite 8.  HE and Luke dominate, each going for 20.  Our bigs lead us to pure domination of the rodents to set us up for a matchup with Virginia for a trip to the final 4.

Game 4 vs. Virginia.  Game was typical MU this year.  Moments of greatness, followed by embarrassingly bad Freshman mistakes.  Keeps the game close to come down to the wire.  Down 1 with 12 seconds left, we have the ball.  JC brings it down and hands off to JJJ, who attacks the lane...dog wakes me up because it has to go to the bathroom.

I'm assuming he made it...damn dog.

Junior came back to help us in our March run?  That was nice of him!

Hey, its my dream, anyone can play point....good catch though.  Not use to writing TC yet (which is why I just used Carter earlier).

I said 1, referring to games that matter. Don't see us beating X at the Garden but hope they show up and at least make it a game. I think they'll take care of SJU.

I think MU will get in the NIT, and hopefully rack up a few more - but I just don't care all that much about that right now. I will when the time comes.

I would take the Rick SLU program right now.
